It's the 4th Annual Dresden Melon Festival.
The celebration of family, friends and the rich-melon history of the Dresden area will kick off Saturday at 9AM and run all evening at the Dresden River Park..
"We have music all day until 11PM ," said Chairman Dave Mathews. "Garden food from various organizations, tractor pull, there's something for everybody."
The day is supported by several area organizations, churches, and youth groups. All proceeds will go towards improvements of the Park.
"It's in a great shape really and it's nice for the people to see that and enjoy the river," said Mathews.
Parking is available for the event at Tri-Valley High School- just off State Route 208 or Muskingum Avenue. A shuttle Service will be provided.
