The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol makes an arrest on State Route 146 Friday morning.

Sgt. Clark Felix said that troopers were attempting to pull over a motorcycle on a speeding violation near Dillon State Park when the rider took off. Sgt. Felix said that the man in his 40's was initially clocked going 76 miles per hour in a 55 zone, but led troopers on a two mile chase that reached speeds of 90-95mph. Authorities said the rider nearly crashed twice before stopping at Holbein Drive.

The man was taken into custody and faces speeding and fleeing charges. The incident remains under investigation.
