The FBI is releasing more details from a Thursday morning bank robbery in Junction City. Special Agenct Harry Trombitas says just before 10:00 am a man wearing a long, black wig entered the First National Bank at 107 West Main Street and handed the teller a note stating he was robbing the bank and wanted money. Trombitas says although no weapon was seen, the robber put his hand to his waist as though he had a gun. The teller gave the bandit cash and the robber fled on foot. The suspect is described as a white male, in his 20’s or 30’s. He is five-feet 11 inches tall, thin build, wearing a white baseball cap with dark writing or logo on the front of the cap, sunglasses, long black wig, red Ohio State University sweatshirt, clear server-type gloves and blue jeans. Anyone with information on this bank robbery is asked to call the Perry County Sheriff’s Office at 740 342-4123 or the FBI in Athens at 740 593-6473.
