Charges have been filed against seven teens following a party where a 14-year-old Zanesville boy died.

Special Prosecutor Mark Collins says the charges range from underage possession to contributing to a delinquency of a minor. Other charges may be filed in the future.

Collins also says Zanesville City Law Director Scott Hillis is eventually expected to file charges against four adults involved in the case.

Incoming Zanesville High School Freshman Grant Hickman was found dead last July 16th at a home on Taylor Street, following a party where authorities say alcohol was involved.

WHIZ contacted Zanesville Superintendent Terry Martin who says it's not a school issue at this point.

We also went to the Taylor Street home of Warren and Tamara howard, where the party occurred, and a person at the home refused to comment.
