A missing Zanesville woman has made contact with family but is still considered a subject of interest by police.
According to Zanesville Police Captain Ken Miller 29 year-old Vivian Evans was reported missing almost 2 weeks ago. Miller said authorities received a call Monday afternoon from a woman claiming to be Evans who stated she is in Columbus and doing fine. Police received another phone call that same day from Evan's mother saying she had spoken to her daughter.
Miller said Evans is no longer considered a missing woman but authorities will continue to search for Evans due to an outstanding warrant for her arrest after a probation violation.
