The Columbus Zoo said the animals taken from Thompson's Farm in Zanesville are doing well.

The young grizzly bear, two Celebes Macaques Monkeys and three Leopards that were rescued are being housed at the zoo's C. Joseph Cross Animal Health Center where they are receiving around the clock care and monitoring in order to assess their condition and ease their transition.

Zoo Spokesperson Patty Peters said that the situation has been difficult for both the staff of the Wilds and the zoo but the outpouring of support and concern has given them strength.
