Police Searching for Robbery Suspect

The Zanesville Police are asking for residents help Tuesday morning.

Lt. Bill Shaw said that two gas station robberies happened within ten minutes of each other.The first at the Starfire at Pine and Pershing at 4:20a.m. In that case a man wearing a blue hoodie with his hood up and pulled tight and light colored blue jeans walked into the store, pretended to have a gun and demanded cash.

When workers wouldn't give him any he knocked over some items and left.

At 4:38a.m. a man fitting the same description walked into the Speedway on Blue Avenue, demanded cash and left with an undisclosed amount.

Lt. Shaw said that several customers were coming in and out of the station at the time and their asking anyone that may have seen anything to call Zanesville Police.
