The Perry County Sheriff’s Office says it has seized over 100 marijuana plants in Somerset. Sheriff William Barker says his deputies along with the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force searched a residence at 5385 Township Road 398A and recovered 112 pot plants. Barker says the plants were set up in two separate growing rooms. Deputies say they also seized currency and illegal firearms from the home. A male was arrested at the scene, but his name won’t be released until the case is presented to the Perry County Prosecutor.
