A lost tradition began once again through the efforts of the West Muskingum High School "Twisters" Dance Team.

The Holiday Fall Bazaar was once an annual fundraiser for the dance team. This year Dance Coaches Amanda Reynolds and Alison Salyers restored the event in hopes of making the financial strain more manageable for the team.

"West Muskingum does pay-to-play now so a lot of it is so they can come into the season and be able to participate," said Reynolds. "It's important to the girls that way they don't have to pay all the money out of pocket."

Coach Salyers is a former "Twister" and remembers the fundraiser from years past. She said this year's was the biggest turn-out she has seen.

"I want to make it the best it can be and show that the girls are still powerful in what they do," said Salyers

Proceeds from Saturday will help pay for costumes, props and competition fees.
