The Zanesville Police Department is releasing pictures of a suspect from this week’s robbery at the Duke and Duchess in Zanesville. It happened Wednesday morning around 5:30 at the store at the intersection of Maple and Forest Avenues. Detective Sergeant Ric Roush says a lone suspect walked in and demanded cash from the clerk. Roush describes the bandit was a white male around 5-feet-six inches tall and between 150 and 170 pounds. He was wearing a dark hoodie with the hood pulled up, a black toboggan on his face with the eyeholes cut out and dark green sweatpants. The suspect was also wearing gloves. Roush says the suspect acted like he had a gun, but no weapon was observed. The suspect left the store with cash and was last seen running toward Good Samaritan Hospital. Roush says it unknown if this robbery is connected to last month’s two robberies at the Starfire gas station on Pershing Road and the Speedway gas station on Blue Avenue. 27-year-old Jonathan Holt has been charged in those incident and remains on the loose. Anyone with information on the robberies is asked to call Zanesville Police. 740 455-0700
