Noble County Sheriff Stephen Hannum is expected to release more details about the craigslist murder case. The Akron Beacon Journal is reporting that a 52-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy are the suspects taken into custody after a man who responded to a craigslist ad was found dead in a shallow grave. Sheriff Hannum announced today that he plans to issue a press release at 11:00 a.m. concerning the issue. The newspaper reported on the suspects’ ages and said the man was from Akron and the boy was an area high school student. The Florida man’s body was found this week in a remote area of Noble County. Hannum says another jobseeker from South Carolina who responded to the same bogus ad was shot but escaped.
