More than 200 trees, wreathes and decorative items will be auctioned off as part of this year's Festival of Trees.

All donated items will be auctioned off this Friday from the Welcome Center in Downtown Zanesville. Vice President of Zanesville Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce Kelly Ashby said each item comes with a special incentive.

"The incentives include a plane ride to a ball park, you can pick from Cincinnati, Cleveland, Pittsburgh," explained Ashby. "We have $500 tuition waver for O.U.Z, we have gift certificates, we have books."

Last year's auction raised more than $33,000. All money raised will benefit the Chamber of Commerce.

"We use the money right back to the Chamber of Commerce for economical development purposes, workshops we host throughout the year, small business development," described Ashby. "So it stays right here in the community."

To see the all the items and incentives available for auction, you can visit the Welcome Center in Downtown Zanesville as part of the Holiday Tour and Miracle on Main Street Ceremony on Wednesday from 5-8PM, or online at www.zmchamber.com.

Bids can be placed this Friday from 9AM to 6 PM at the Welcome Center or call and listen-in to WHIZ's AM 1240 at (740) 450-1990 to place your bid.
