Zanesville Police are asking for the public's help in connection with a theft at the Winerak.

Detective Sgt. Ric Roush says they are hoping someone recognizes the suspect in this surveillance photo.

He says on November 4th at around 4:30 p.m. a woman with blonde hair, wearing dark sunglasses and a dark blue coat walked into the Winerak on Maple Avenue.

The woman began taking large items off the store racks and placed them in a grocery cart.

Roush says she then walked to the counter and convinced the store employee that she had already purchased the items and now wanted to return them.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the female left the store on foot.

Anyone with information about the theft is being asked to contact Zanesville Police at 455-0700.
