Two Women In Custody In Pipe Bomb Threat

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says two women are in custody in connection with an attempt to rob the BP Gas Station in Duncan Falls Monday at around 8 p.m.

According to Muskingum County Sheriff's reports a vehicle matching the description of the suspect was stopped by the Morgan County Sheriff's Office on State Route 669 just before 11p.m. Monday night.

Two woman were taken into custody.

Sheriff Matt Lutz said around 8p.m. a woman walked into the BP on Main Street and told employees she had a pipe bomb under her jacket.

Clerks didn't actually see a bomb, but said the woman was hiding something beneath her shirt. No on was injured.  The Sheriff is not sure what role, if any, the second woman played in the incident.
