Zanesville police said they have made an arrest in connection with a robbery at Pick ‘N Save on Howard Street. Roush said Friday, around 6:45 p.m., officers were called to the grocery store after a suspect pulled a knife and threatened two employees.

"At the time the two employees were approaching him, the suspect did pull out a knife, and threatened the two male employees, with the knife. He then took off, after a short footchase by officers of the Zanesville Police Department, he was approached," said Roush.

Officers determined that a male suspect had stolen several items and fled on foot toward the downtown area. Roush said after a foot chase, the suspect was taken into custody. No one was injured in the incident. The case will be presented to a Muskingum County Grand Jury on Wednesday.
