The Perry County Sheriff’s Office says it busted a marijuana growing operation. Deputies, along with the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force executed a search warrant at 46 South Buckeye Street in Crooksville Tuesday morning at 7:30. Deputies say the search warrant was the result of an investigation regarding the cultivation of marijuana occurring in front of juveniles inside the residence. Detectives say they seized an undisclosed amount of marijuana and drug manufacturing equipment. Three people were arrested and are being held at the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail. The names of those arrested are not being released until formally charged. The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team, The Perry County Dog Warden’s Office and Perry County Children’s Services assisted in today’s raid.
