A Junction City man is accused of robberies in three states.

According to the Newark Police Department, 21-year-old Nikolas Evans was arrested Tuesday in connection with several aggravated robberies. Authorities say Evans provided a taped confession where he admitted to four robberies.

The first was March 16th at the Stop Mart on Mt. Vernon Road in Newark. The second robbery occurred March 25th at the Circle K on Church Street in Newark. Then on April 2nd, authorities say Evans robbed a convenience store in Beckley, West Virginia. The final robbery occurred April 3rd at a 7-Eleven in Naples, Florida.

During all of the robberies Evans showed a firearm and when he was arrested officers confiscated a 9mm handgun they believe was used in the crimes.

The Licking County Grand Jury will hear the case on April 19.
