The father of one of the boys who went missing in the Muskingum River last summer has pled guilty to an unrelated sex charge.
30-year-old John Tullius pled guilty to gross sexual imposition Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court. In return for his guilty plea two rape charges and one gross sexual imposition charge will be dropped at sentencing. He will be classified as a Tier II sex offender. Judge Kelly Cottrill ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
Last June, Tullius' two-year-old son Anthony was camping near the Ellis Dam when he and his three-year-old brother Ayden Cecil went missing. Ayden's body was found later that day in the river, Anthony's body has never been recovered. The boy's mother Kasey Klein and step-father Richard Klein were sentenced to 12 years in prison in connection with their deaths.
