Zanesville police say they are still investigating a Monday afternoon shooting incident.  It happened just before 2 p.m. at 19 South 6th Street.  Detective Sergeant Ric Roush says when officers arrived they found 45-year-old Timothy Besser with a minor gunshot wound to his left shoulder.  Besser was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment.  Roush says the shooter is described a white male in the early 30’s with a thin build, around 6' to 6'3", clean shaven with dark brown hair.  At the time of the shooting the suspect was wearing blue jeans and a gray tee-shirt.   Roush says a motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.  Any one with information about this incident is asked to call Zanesville Police.
