The rain held off long enough for some outdoor shopping Saturday...
The 35th annual Farmer's Market opened this weekend in Zanesville. Vendors set up shop at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds to sell their goods and market their businesses.
"We get a lot of advertisement. A lot of people go to our garden center, like they want to know more things about plants, and we have several varieties. We do all perennials and herbs. We decided to try that instead of all annuals, and it's worked out really well with us," said Cheryl Camp, owner of Herb N Perennials.
Vendors said hundreds of people lined up early Sunday morning, and some items sold out quickly.
"We've had a good day! We've sold a lot of annuals, a lot of things that are just starting to bloom, and people are in the mood right now!"
The Farmer's Market takes place every Saturday from 9am until noon.
