A college club is celebrating the end of the school year by giving back to the community.
The Zane State Criminal Justice Club held a "Family Fun Day" at Riverside Park. Club president Nicole Balser said there were activities for all ages.
"We do have your first round of food is free, we have drinks, we have games, we have... The sheriff brought the K-9 unit. So, we have a bunch of different things going on, just to give back to the community for everything that they do for us," said Balser.
The Harrison Township Fire Department brought a dunk tank, and area businesses donated items for a raffle.
"We have a lot of community help. A lot of the businesses donated buns, and hotdogs and hamburgers and pop, and we've had a lot of support with that. This is our first time ever doing this, and if it goes well this year, we are going to do it again next year... Definitely going to do it again next year!"
The event kicked off Saturday morning with a walk to benefit Nationwide Children's Hospital.
