Wilson's Garden Center is hosting it's own breast cancer awareness event.
This weekend is the second year for the "Pink Day Celebration" in honor of people who have struggled with breast cancer. Survivor Katrina Prendrey, also known as "Miss Pinky", was on hand to advise women about breast cancer awareness.
"I am tickled pink to be here today and I wish everyone else was here, you should come out and see us, it's of course for the awareness of breast cancer and more than anything else the importance of mammograms," said Prendrey.
Coordinator Sharon Richards says all donations from this weekend's event will benefit breast cancer research.
"We have a lot of pink things that can be purchased at a discount so wear your pink and come in and see us and join in on the fun and help us fight breast cancer," said Richards.
The pink-themed event will wrap up Sunday with special guests, free massages and refreshments.
