Search Continues In Morgan Shooting

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office says it has been about a week since 39-year-old Timmy Steven reportedly shot 36-year-old John Davis III.  Jenkins says on June 12th according to witnesses the two men were arguing inside a home at 430 North Riverview Road south of Malta when Stevens is suspected of shooting Davis three times in the head.  Wednesday the Sheriff released a picture of Davis.  Davis is wanted in Morgan County for a felony warrant, misdemeanor warrant and child support warrant.   He is also wanted in Washington County for a felony warrant and in Muskingum County for a misdemeanor warrant.  The Sheriff says Davis is 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds with numerous tattoos as well as a shaved head and a goatee.  Davis should be considered armed and dangerous.  He has been avoiding apprehension for over six month and has an extensive violent criminal history in addition to the pending cases.  Meanwhile the suspect in this case, Stevens, (the second picture) remains on the loose and was spotted in Zanesville last Thursday but authorities were unable to locate and arrest him.  He is also considered armed and dangerous.  Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.
