Gas Prices Dropping!

Average gas prices in Ohio has dropped more than 20 cents over the past week, though drivers still are paying more than they were this time last year.  A gallon of regular gas averaged $3.43 in Monday’s survey from Auto Club AAA, the average a week ago was 22 cents higher at $3.65.  A year ago, the cost was about $3.88.  In Zanesville gas is selling for as low as $3.20 a gallon on the West Pike near McDonald’s.  Oil prices remain near eight month lows.  The cost of crude has plummeted over the past two months amid increasing signs of a slowdown in the global economy, led by Europe that could reduce demand for crude.  Nationally, the average price for regular gas is about $3.41, down a dime from last week.
