Two construction projects tie up roadways in Muskingum County.
Monday, Northpointe Drive, closed for 30 days so that the road could be rehabbed and paving could take place.
Part of the project includes replacing the asphalt berms that have been broken up and leveling some of the roadway.
"Over the Vista View Drive area there's a conspan that seems to be settling, so we're going to put a concrete patch in that area to level up that area, then we'll resurface," said Muskingum County Engineer Doug Davis.
Road repaving will be paid with grant money and take place between Richvale Road and Powelson Drive. Davis said he hopes to apply for future grants to repave the rest of the roadway.
The Gaysport Bridge is also closed for 14 days as they work on part of the substructure.
"This is actually pre-planned approach. We've been working on other spans of the structure and we haven't got to this span yet," said Davis. "That's exactly what we're doing is systematically planned our work within our budget as well as the time frame for the structure of the bridge."
Paving will also take place on John Glenn School Road before the school year.
