Secrest Auditorium and TicketCrush Concerts announced two new big name artists that will be giving performances in the Y-Bridge City this fall.
Tickets go on sale Monday for the Blues Traveler concert on September 25th.
The band is known for their Top 40 singles, "But Anyway," Run Around" and "Hook."
Kyle McPeck of TicketCrush Concerts said this tour is an effort to promote their new album, "Suzie Cracks the Whip."
"They're well know for their long-form concerts, they can be up to three hours long, and so we're pretty excited about that jam band kind of thing," said McPeck. "What you see here might not be what you see the next night or a couple nights before that."
In addition, tickets go on sale Saturday for Chris Isaak at Secrest Auditorium on November 18th.
Isaak, who was known best for his 1989 song "Wicked Game," will be making the rounds with his, "Beyond the Sun" tour in support of his latest album.
"What is really unique about that is that it's about Sun recording artists, so we're talking about Elvis Presley, you're talking about Johnny Cash. He's re-done a lot of those songs and did a whole album of re-makes of those songs," added McPeck.
Tickets can be purchased through the Secrest Auditorium Box Office, the TicketCrush office on Maple Avenue or through E-Tix.com.
It was also announced Wednesday that tickets for comedian and country music singer Rodney Carrington have sold out.
Auditorium Manager Anne Combs said the recent partnership with TicketCrush Concerts is helping to bring more people through the doors of Secrest Auditorium.
"The partnership we've formed with TicketCrush Concerts just as opened doors to us that are unbelievable," said Combs. "They types of concerts we have coming in we expect to be making more and more of these announcements because we'll have people come to Secrest on a regular basis to see the names of people they want to see."
Carrington is set to come to Zanesville and perform in September.
