Man Charged In Fatal Motorcycle Accident

A Zanesville man has been charged in connection to a fatal motorcycle accident back in June.

According to Muskingum County Court records, 72-year-old John Craven of Zanesville has been charged with one count of failure to yield right of way and one count of vehicular manslaughter.  Craven will be arraigned on August 22nd at 9 a.m.

South Zanesville Police said 48-year-old Dwight Reynolds of Chandlersville was killed on June 15th when a truck, driven by Craven, collided with his motorcycle that was part of a funeral procession on Maysville Pike.  Reynolds was taken by Medflight to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital, where he died of his injuries.
