The threat of rain didn't stop people from coming out to enjoy ribs Saturday.
The lines for food were long, but worth the wait especially for those vendors who come every year. Bigg Fams barbeque only comes to the ribfest in Zanesville. They were voted number one in the state at last year's ribfest. He says there's one thing that makes his ribs amazing.
"Love. Love. Take your time, just love them. You can't rush it, cook it right, keep it loving. You keep them coming back," said Tony Russell, owner of Bigg Fams.
There was everything from barbeque chicken to sweet corn to choose from. For first timers, the fest was a hit and they plan to attend from now on.
"I think it's wonderful. I wish they had more things like this to come and do and stuff like that," said Randy Allen, first time Ribfest attendee.
The ribfest was sponsored by the Minorty Business Resource Network of Southeastern Ohio. The fest wraps up Saturday at midnight.
