A Zanesville man pleads guilty in a local drug case. The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office says 41-year-old Anthony Williams went before Judge Mark Fleegle Wednesday and pleaded guilty to possession of drugs and two counts of having a weapon while under disability. Sheriff Matt Lutz says Williams was one of two men arrested in a July heroin raid at a home at 1265 Dillon Road where deputies recovered $6800 in heroin, $5500 in cash, $5000 stolen property and two handguns. Judge Fleegle ordered a pre-sentence investigation in the case and continued Williams’ bond at $250,000. A co-defendant in the case 44-year-old Steven Angler is facing possession of heroin and permitting drug abuse charges.
