An NBA Hall of Famer and Ohio State Basketball alumnus brought his message to Zanesville Sunday.
Jerry Lucas presented two messages at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church on Seventh Street.
Sunday morning, Lucas spoke on improving family relationships, and in the evening Lucas presented a seminar called "Learning Made Fun and Easy."
Lucas said he wants to make an impact in educating children and adults nationwide.
"I just love what I do. It's exciting for me to help people," said Lucas. "The goal in my life is to revolutionize the education in America. I've worked very very hard toward that for almost forty years."
Lucas' work has earned him the nickname "Dr. Memory" and will begin a media tour in November promoting his new website, "Dr. M's Universe."
He said everyone has an ability to increase their learning capabilities and his programs and seminars do just that.
"We go to school, and nothing has an identity, it's ink on a page," Lucas said. "I change that ink on a page and give everything a tangible identity and learning is automatic and fun and people are amazed and it changes their lives."
Monday night, Lucas will present a seminar called "Names and Faces Made Easy."
