Witches Help Zanesville Day Nursery

Friendly witches were in town to raise money for children. They filled the Zanesville Country Club for the 4th annual Witches Tea and Luncheon. This year's theme was The Wizard of Oz. Not only is the event fun for all who attend, it provides much needed help to the Zanesville Day Nursery. The non-profit school relies on fundraisers and grants to operate. "We knew we needed more funding. The need is very great in our area for pre-school programs and ours is a quality pre-school program so we felt that we needed to raise money," said Board member, Janet Stewart. Nearly three thousand dollars is raised each year during the fundraiser. The luncheon is invitation only, but if you're interested in attending next year contact the Zanesville Day Nursery.
