The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office says two Columbus women are in custody, after they shot at an area man.  Captain Jeff LeCocq says it happened Wednesday evening just before midnight at 2425 Old River Road.  Lecocq says the homeowner invited the two women into his home and a dispute occurred, which resulted in two shots being fired by one of the women from a handgun.  After the shooting, the women fled the scene and were arrested by deputies in the area a short time later.  The names of the suspects will not be released until formal charges are filed, which will likely happen Friday morning.  The incident remains under investigation.
