Many shoppers and retailers are putting the finishing touches on one of the most well known shopping days of the year, Black Friday.
The Colony Square Mall in Zanesville will officially open it's doors at 6:00 a.m. the day after Thanksgiving, but more than twenty stores in the mall have chosen to begin their early bird specials at midnight.
"Organized chaos would be a good way to explain Black Friday out here at the mall. It's very busy, people are definitely out bargain-hunting and looking for the great deals, and there will be plenty of them to be had." said Mall Marketing Manager Kevin Pinson
Sale flyers will be available in the middle of the mall on Black Friday to help customers plan, and there is an incentive for big-spenders who hit the mall before 8 a.m..
"You've got to study for something like this. Also make sure, if you spend $100 or more, starting at 6:00 a.m.." Pinson said, "We're going to give away a gift card, a ten dollar gift card, for anybody who spends $100 or more."
When it comes to holiday shopping, Pinson says between November and December combined about two million people visit the mall. To preview sales and find out when your favorite stores are opening you can visit http:// www.ColonySquareMall.com
