Dryden Shooting

Two Columbus men have been charged in connection to a shooting in Zanesville.

Captain Tony Coury said that 25-year-old Joe Shaw-Wyche and 25-year-old Ralfe Upshaw are in custody after a November 28, 2012 shooting at 618 Dryden Road.

Zanesville Police said two people were inside the home at the time, but no one was injured.

Captain Coury said incriminating evidence was found at the scene that led to their arrest. Both men have spoken to detectives and there was enough evidence to charge them with aggravated burglary, two counts of aggravated robbery and felonious assault all with gun specifications.

They are also charged with having a weapon while under disability.

Captain Coury said that their case will go before a grand jury Wednesday. It's unknown of their motives for being in the city.

The two men are being held in the Zanesville City Jail.
