A portion of U.S. 22 in Muskingum County will be named after a Zanesville solider killed in the line of duty.
State Representative Brian Hill Wednesday announced that the Ohio House of Representatives concurred with the Ohio Senate amendments on House Bill 325 to designate a part of U.S. 22 as Army Staff Sergeant Lester O. KInney II Memorial Highway.  Hill says the portion of 22 within the City of Zanesville would be named after Kinney, who died January 27th, 2004 while serving in Iraq.  Hill says this is one more way of honoring Staff Sergeant Kinney and his service to our country.  Hill added that he and State Senator Troy Balderson want to ensure that his sacrifice will not be forgotten by the community.
