A long standing tradition is taking the stage this weekend.
For over 80 years the Zanesville Civic Chorus has presented Handel's Messiah Oratorio to the public.
The event features a full orchestra along with local singers. The "Messiah" tells the whole story of Christ from Christmas, through Lent and into the Easter Resurrection.
If you can't make the Sunday concert, organizers said you can attend the dress rehearsal Saturday, soloists begin at 2p.m. with the full choir at 6p.m. Sunday's concert at Central Trinity United Methodist Church is free to the public, but a free will donation will be taken for the Red Cross.
The concert Sunday begins at 6p.m.
