A fatal accident on Interstate 70 has claimed the life of one man.

It happened around 5:30 this evening. According to Trooper Todd Henry of the Zanesville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. A pick up truck traveling in the westbound left lane near the Norwich exit went off the left side of the road, overcorrected, traveled back across the right side of the highway, went through a guardrail, overturned multiple times and ended up in a ravine. The driver, Leonard Borgdorff of Bellville, Michigan was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers say he was wearing a safety belt.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
