Teen Enters Plea in Bomb Threat Case

A Maysville teen enters a plea in a bomb threat case.

The 13-year-old was in juvenile court, Monday, and entered a plea of denial to charges of inducing panic.

Detention Superintendent Daniel Kieffer said that the teen will undergo evaluations before he goes before the court again.

The bomb threat January 15, placed Maysville High School in a lock down for several hours while the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office conducted a sweep of the building.

Sheriff Matt Lutz said the student was arrested after an investigation by his department and the Maysville Director of Safety, Ric Roush.

The juvenile remains in custody at the Juvenile Detention Center.
