The Marietta Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol is investigating a one vehicle fatal crash in Morgan County.

The Patrol said it happened around 2:45 a.m. Saturday on State Route 377 in Marion Township.  A Dodge Stratus was traveling north when it went off the left side of the road, re-entered the roadway and continued off the right side of the road.  The Patrol said the vehicle went airborne over an embankment and struck a tree.

19-year-old Shaun Stanley of Chesterhill was killed.  33-year-old Cory Sneider, also of Chesterhill, was life-flighted to a Columbus hospital.  The Patrol said seat belts were not in use, and it's unclear who was driving the vehicle.  The crash remains under investigation.
