Its time again for the annual golf show in Muskingum County...this year in a new location.
The Zanesville District Golf Association will hold their golf show this Saturday at Eaglesticks Golf Club from 11 until 3 p.m. You must have a ticket to get in. Tickets can be purchased at the door or any area Z.D.G.A. golf course for five dollars. All proceeds benefit the Z.D.G.A.'s scholarship program, that awards several junior golfers every summer.
"Since 1998, the ZDGA has given out almost $37,000 in scholarship money to our area junior golfers. It's roughly about $2,000 a year that we give out in scholarship money to our juniors," said Z.D.G.A. President, Steve Galloway.
The golf show will feature many area golf courses and lots of golf merchandise. There will also be several clinics and events those in attendance can take part in.
"We want everybody to know they're welcome and encouraged to attend. There's also going to be a long drive contest and a putting contest," said Mike Durant of the Zanesville Country Club.
The show will also host a silent auction, with all donations going towards the junior golfers scholarship program.
