The Sweet Adelines spent their day spreading love around Zanesville.
A quartet visited Judge William Joseph at the Municipal Court downtown to share a Valentine message from his wife.
"It makes us feel wonderful to be able to do that and the main thing is, it's the people that we're singing to. We get all kinds of reactions, smiles, tears, it makes them happy to know that somebody is thinking about them," said Nancy Smith with the Sweet Adelines.
The Adelines visited many other locations as well. They even dropped by an elementary school to sing to third graders. They spread the same message but try and make each visit special.
"For a donation to Genesis Hospice we send out a quartet and we sing a song to the person and give them a carnation, there are several different songs. We try to fit the song to the person," said Smith.
The Sweet Adelines received so many calls this year they had to cut off the number they could sing to. The Adelines say to make sure you get to your Valentine next year, call weeks in advance.
