Today The United Way of Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan Counties made an exciting announcement; Their funding will now be open to any non profit organization!
Those eligible must be working towards achieving one of The United Way's client outcomes to maximize impacts. Those outcomes are education, income, health and providing a quality safety net.
Executive Director, Meg Deedrick said, "And again we wanted to make sure we reach saturation in Muskingum, Perry and Morgan Counties, so this is an opportunity for many organizations that may have not been that historical United Way partner to work with United Way to advance their goals and our goals at the same time."
A mandatory application training session for organizations interested will be on Thursday, February 28th from 2 to 4 PM at John McIntire Library's Auditorium.
Community Impact Coordinator, Amy Davis said, "The next process will be, the organization will be asked to complete a two page letter of intent stating which one of the client outcomes they are working towards, how much funding they are asking for, and what partnerships in the community that they have, in order to support that program."
If approved programs will submit a full application by April 12th and the programs will be evaluated and accepted programs will be announced in June. There is a limit of 40 applications. A full list of contracts, dates and client outcomes is below.
