Man Charged In Norwich Stabbing

The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office has filed charges in connection with this weeks stabbing incident near Norwich.  Sheriff’s Office  Captain Jeff LeCocq says that 29-year-old Chad Brill of Chandlersville is facing one count each of attempted murder, felonious assault, aggravated burglary and possession of criminal tools.  LeCocq says the incident happened Wednesday around 8 a.m. at 165 Sundale Road.  Deputies were called to the scene after multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting yelling and screaming and discovered a female who has suffered a cut wound.  Her name is not being released by authorities, but she lives in the home on Sundale Road where the incident occurred.  Brill is being held in the Muskingum County Jail awaiting his first court appearance.
