About 100 people dressed in green participated in the St. Patty's Day Mud Run on Saturday afternoon.

"This is our second annual St. Patrick's Day Mud Run, and we were real excited, we were hoping to have 100 runners and that's exactly where we ended up this year. Fortunately the weather held off and we're having a great time and they're having a great time on the course," said YMCA Executive Director, Craig Miracle.

Prizes were given to the top three male and female overall finishers, the top three co-ed teams and the top runner in each age division.

"Our Strong Kids Campaign is an annual campaign we run. The funds we raise from that go towards providing financial assistance to youth and family in the community so they can participate in YMCA programs and be a part of something great."

The YMCA raised about $2,000 for the Strong Kids Campaign.
