Two Columbus men charged in connection with a Zanesville shooting appeared in court Monday for sentencing.

Ralfe Upshaw and Joe Shaw-Wyche were both sentenced by Muskingum County Common Pleas Judge Mark Fleegle to five years in prison on a felonious assault charge with a gun specification. The two were also charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and having a weapon while under disability but those charges were dropped at the time of sentencing.

Zanesville Police arrested the two men on November 28th of last year for shooting at a home on Dryden Road.

Police say two people were inside the home at the time but no one was injured.
