Another rescue had to be made Tuesday evening in Perry County due to flooded streets.

According to Deputy Ryan Paisley of the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office, a father and son were attempting to drive over high waters on East Athens Road near Elks Run Road, when their car was flooded and they were trapped inside in knee deep water. The street was flooded due to a small stream overflowing a bridge. The Roseville Fire Department had to use a rope to pull the vehicle out of the water and rescue the two men. They were not injured and received minor treatment near the scene.

That road is now closed because although the water was beginning to recede, with another wave of storms headed towards Perry County, it will most likely flood again.
