The Lancaster Post of the Ohio State Patrol says that on Saturday morning at approximately 1:30 a.m. a 2001 Ford Expedition was stopped for speeding on US 33, milepost 8 in Fairfield County.
Both the driver and the passenger were Michigan residents traveling to Logan, Ohio. Criminal indicators were observed and both suspects admitted to possessing drugs. After searching the vehicle, officials found 25 pounds nitrous oxide, 11 grams of hashish powder, 6 vials of hashish liquid, LSD, methamphetamines, pills and 18 grams of marijuana.
Both suspects will face felony charges including Trafficking Harmful Intoxicants and Drug Possession. Suspects names are being withheld at this time pending indictment by Fairfield County Grand Jury.
