The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office says a Meadowbrook Middle School student is facing charges after a bomb threat. It happened Thursday afternoon while area schools were under a lock down due to a man threatening suicide. It all started in a home near the middle school when deputies were dealing with a man threatening suicide with a shotgun. Deputies surrounded the home and tried to make contact with the man, but were unable to do so. When they finally entered the home he was found dead from what appeared to be a self inflicted gun wound. Meanwhile a bomb threat was found on the restroom wall of the middle school while three schools in the area were on a lock down due to the earlier incident There were no explosives found. A student is expected to be charged in the incident.
