Two to three hundred people came out for a candle light vigil for 11-year-old Celine Wyatt who was killed Monday night in an ATV accident. Celine's father spoke at the vigil as did many of Celine's friends and softball teammates.
On Tuesday, Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz released new details from the accident. Lutz says Wyatt was riding on the ATV early Monday night in the front yard of her Norfield Road home and rolled the vehicle. Sheriff Lutz says the coroner issued a preliminary cause of death as a fracture at the lower base of Wyatt's skull. Lutz says Wyatt was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, but the coroner indicated it probably would not have saved her life based on the injury she suffered.
Sheriff Lutz says the incident remains under investigation.
