Newark Break-ins Investigated

Newark Police need help in catching those involved in a series of August business break-ins.

The break-ins took place between August 16 and 17th and against on August 24 through the 27th. Businesses affected included the Subway and Dairy Queen on North 21st Street, Jeff's Laundromat on Mount Vernon Road, Paco's Tacos on Cedar Street and Lee's Famous Recipe on North 21st Street.

Cash was taken from some of the businesses.

Anyone with information on these crimes is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at (74) 349-6888. There is an up to $1,000 reward being offered for information leading to an arrest.
